An Overview of Dr. Saad Saad’s Incredible Career

Dr. Saad Saad was born in the late 1940s in Palestine at a juncture when the region was experiencing both dramatic and rapid changes. The formation of the State of Israel forced many Palestinians to relocate out of the region. Saad and his family were moved out of their home to Westbank never to return to their home again. Dr. Saad’s father was a mechanic at this point in time when petroleum had just been discovered in the Middle East. Saad and his family moved to Kuwait in the 1950s and this is where he spent most of his childhood years. His father reminded him of their hardships and advised him that education was the only thing that would rescue him from the sufferings. He realized that he could be anybody and he could do anything with a high level of education.

 

While in high school, Dr. Saad Saad accompanied his brother to a construction site in Kuwait one day. It was summer and the temperatures were extremely high. As result, the young Saad fainted and he later on realized that the hot temperatures had given him a heat stroke. It deemed to him that he was not fit for outdoor jobs. At that point in time, the operating room was the only place with air conditioning facilities in Kuwait. This experience urged him to become a pediatric surgeon. He is currently one of the best and most successful pediatric surgeons in the United States of America. He kept working hard to achieve his goals. Apart from being a pediatric surgeon, he also holds an honors’ degree from the medical school. He acquired his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine. He has been practicing pediatrics for over 20 years.

 

Keeping time is one of the habits that has made Dr. Saad Saad be who he is today. He believed in accomplishing his works without procrastinating and this habit allowed him to efficiently use him time to achieve higher levels of success. Upon moving to the United States he set his mind to become a Board Certified pediatric surgeon in the country. This goal encouraged him to pursue high levels of education. He became the only board certified pediatrician in America that is fluent in both Arabic and English languages in the mid-1980s. His qualifications made him very competitive in the market and he was later on made the pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Arabian royal family’s children up to 1989. Dr. Saad Saad then returned to the United States and started exploring the possibilities of lessening pain and recovery time for patients. He developed new medical procedures to progress his medical care including eliminating the need for incision in patients. He is affiliated with many hospitals including Monmouth Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
