Alexandre Gama is an advertising figure in Brazil that has worked in the industry since 1982. He now owns and operates Neogama, the eponymous advertising firm arguably known better than any other throughout all of Brazil.
Mr. Gama first went to Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, a professional organization that teaches individuals how to excel in the world of advertising. In 1982, he started working at the American-based Standard Ogilvy & Mather, today known simply as Ogilvy & Mather, as a copywriter and creator. After eight straight years with the agency, he then went on to DM9, working as a creative director and writer.
Over the following four years, Alexandre Gama won more awards than anybody else in the entirety of Brazil in the field of advertising.
He has also worked for Young & Rubicam, today known as Y&R, prior to making Neogama in 1999. Alexandre Gama has also been involved in the field of music, where he created VIOLAB, a studio that records acoustic guitar players and shares it on the world wide web to watch for free.
