Goettl Acquires Walton’s Heat and Air, Set To Expand To Southern California

Published / by StevenLHarris

Goettl is a company that is mainly involved with the fixing of air conditioning services in numerous locations across the country. The company was founded in 1939 by two brothers, and today has become one of the leading choices when it comes to air conditioning services. All through the years, the company has seen a massive amount of growth, because they have consistently adapted to the new trends in the industry. By embracing all the innovations that come their way, the company continues to offer their customers nothing short of the very best. Currently, the company is operational in Phoenix in Arizona, Las Vegas in Nevada, and also in some parts of California.

In a report by NorCal News, to expand their services further and reach a much larger customer base, the company decided to merge with Walton’s Heating and Air, a family-run company that is based in southern California. By acquiring this company, Goettl can now expand their reach to locations that they have previously not tapped into. The company was previously owned by Todd Longbrake, who worked as hard as he could to expand the family business.

Goettl initially approached Longbrake in 2015 with talks of merging to offer better services to its customer base in California. However, at the time, Longbrake was not too keen on giving up his family company and decided to work on it on his own. However, he changed his mind and chose to merge with Goettl to make expanding the business a lot easier than it would be if he were doing it all by himself.

Goettl has gone to great lengths to ensure that their customers are receiving the best services that they could ask for. Through the years, the company has had a long list of satisfied clients who have all been extremely pleased with the work that Goettl has done. The company has worked with individual households, as well as large offices and factories. To ensure that their customers are always receiving the best, the company hires only the very best. All the professionals working at the company are trained and taught how to go about fixing the air conditioners, and all adhere to the high standards that the company has.

Whenever a customer approaches Goettl for air conditioning services, the company takes the time out to understand their customer’s needs, and also the budget that they have in place. This allows them to give their customer the apt air conditioning services that are right for them. For more info, visit

Growing up in his home country of Australia, he recalled spending his holidays on friends’ farms and enjoying the wide open spaces. Andrew Rocklage: The Boston Entrepreneur Who Can Do It All

Published / by StevenLHarris

Andrew Rocklage is not your typical entrepreneur. While many refer to specialize in one business area and run with it, Mr. Rocklage has done the opposite. As a trained and accomplished lawyer, he surprised many when he decided to found and operate the Sky Zone Trampoline Park.

The unconventional business decision has paid off as the trampoline park is one of the most visited recreational areas in Boston. The move has also propelled Mr. Rocklage to join a select few who can call themselves the most successful entrepreneurs in Boston.

Andrew Rocklage is a native of Boston. He studied in the city, having graduated cum-laude with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.

Always passionate about becoming a lawyer, he then went on to attain his Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk University’s School of Law. Therefore, given his undying and passionate commitment to the city, it was only natural that he made it in Boston.

Mr. Rocklage’s professional career was just as diverse and eventful as the educational journey that preceded it. He first worked at Major League Lacrosse as a public relations intern. He then moved on to another sports franchise, in the Boston Red Socks, where he first worked as a legal department intern before being promoted to a ticket services associate.

He then had a brief stint at Cubist Pharmaceutical, serving first as a legal summer intern then as a legal consultant. Thereafter, after years working on the fringes of the law, he took his first job at a law firm, serving as a legal clerk at Doherty, Wallace, Pitsburry and Murphy P.C. He then moved to Avery, Dooley, and Noone, LLP where he served in a similar position.

Mr. Rocklage then finally joined the big leagues when he was employed by EPIRUS Biopharmaceuticals, first as a legal consultant, then as the Corporate Counsel. After two years at the company, he felt that the time had come to venture out on his own. Thereafter, he founded the Sky Zone Trampoline Park, now found in Daytona Beach and Port St. Lucie.

Andrew Rocklage’s uncanny ability to thrive wherever he goes is not down to luck. Rather, it is the result of a unique set of skills that he possesses, lacking in many entrepreneurs today.

In addition to being extremely daring, he has shown that shown a high level of business acumen, especially with regards to his good understanding of the business scene in Boston. Additionally, he knows how to build a brand successfully.

Knowing that Sky Zone Trampoline Park is largely a service-based business, he has the awareness to ensure that the employees display stellar customer service. Many often return to the park as a result of being treated in a friendly manner.

How Officers Use Securus Technologies Combating Drugs

Published / by StevenLHarris

Drugs inside the jail can be a real problem for anyone who has to work or reside behind those walls. As a corrections officer in this jail, I know that drugs in the hands of the inmates will make things more dangerous for all involved. To try and maintain a certain degree of order, me and my fellow officers will go to great lengths to utilize all the resources we have at our disposal to keep this environment safer for all.

What my team has determined is that the visitor center inside the jail is where the biggest threat of drugs changing hands will occur. To combat the drug problem, we start by warning each guest of the consequences if they are caught passing anything illegal to the inmates. We then search all of the guests, watch them interact with inmates, and then check the inmates before they can get to their cells. This is conjunction with checking inmate mail, listening to inmate calls, and searching inmate cells, has allowed us to really keep most of the drugs out of our jail.

The day that Securus Technologies installed their call monitoring system in our facility, we had another powerful resource in our efforts to keep drugs out of the jail. The company has one objective, making this world safe, and all 1,000 employees of this Dallas-based company are committed to that process. Once I was better familiar with the LBS software, it was incredibly easy to listen to inmates using the phone.

All of a sudden we have been able to pick up conversations where inmates are taking about using drugs in the yard, hiding drugs in the jail, or asking people on the outside to bring them drugs. When we hear anything drug related, we can spring to action instantly.

The Breakthrough In Tissue Regeneration Discovered By Dr. Cameron Clokie

Published / by StevenLHarris / 1 Comment on The Breakthrough In Tissue Regeneration Discovered By Dr. Cameron Clokie

Cameron Clokie is directly responsible for Peter Russel having a complete jawbone despite the fact he lost seven centimeters due to a benign tumor. This is possible because of a revolutionary new treatment that has completely changed restorative surgery.

So far eight people in Canada have been helped by this surgery. Adult stem cells can become bone tissue with the use of a specific protein. Cameron Clokie heads the University of Toronto’s oral and maxillofacial surgery and discovered this technique that allows bones to grow just as they do in a baby. Learn more about Cameron Clokie:

The procedure has been performed at Mount Sinai Hospital and Toronto General Hospital and is a gigantic milestone in tissue regeneration. In the past reconstructing a body part was painful and involved taking muscle, fat and bone from other areas of the body.

Another of Dr. Cameron Clokie’s cases involved Ms. McFarlane who also lost part of her jaw due to a benign tumor. Her face became distorted but because her tumor involved a joint she was unable to be considered for the revolutionary surgery. Her jaw tissue was replaced in a standard surgery and she has 12 centimeters of bone removed from her shin.

When Dr. Clokie compared the two cases Ms. McFarlane had an operation lasting 19 hours and was in the hospital for two weeks. She requires a second operation where she will have bone removed from her hip. Mr. Russel’s operation lasted four hours and he was left with a vague scar. He was hospitalized for two nights and was skiing in Colorado two weeks after his surgery.

Dr. Clokie performs the reconstruction with a growth protein modeled into the shape of the jaw section in need of replacement. The procedure is supported with a titanium rod. As the blood vessels begin to grow the gel dissolves and the growth of the jawbone fills in any gap.

Dr. Cameron Clokie views the procedure as an excellent example of the capabilities of regenerative medicine.

The biggest problem with the procedure is the expense. The required protein comes at a cost of over $6,000 and Medicare will not cover this cost. The protein is called bone morphogenetic protein and will be vital for more breakthroughs in this field.
